QuidCon comes to the East Coast for a third year of programming focused on developing quidditch teams, players, and leaders.
QuidCon is the IQA's annual conference and the only conference dedicated to quidditch. It's three days of programming focused on making you a better player, developing your team, giving you a voice in the IQA, and making friends with quidkids around the world.
Why join us at QuidCon? It comes down to the three P's:
QuidCon offers almost two dozen hands-on workshops and seminars on topics ranging from navigating the world of club sports to fundraising to coaching to tournament planning. With this year's theme of "Learn, Lead, and Compete" we'll be focusing even more on how you can work toward your goals, whether those are winning the World Cup, fundraising to cross the country, or becoming a more confident coach.
This year, Sunday's quidditch tournament will be a fantasy tournament—attendee-GMs will draft teams to compete for the QuidCon champion title. Throughout the weekend, each region will also compete for "house" points. Think your region is the best? Prove it!
QuidCon is like a cross between a slumber party and summer camp. When you're not attending sessions, you'll be making friends, exploring the convention center and Washington, DC, attending the third annual Sirius Black Tie banquet and ball, and more.
