Minus the magic, quidditch is all real in Greeley, Colo. at the University of Northern Colorado. With brooms between their legs and even the golden snitch, the game made famous by the Harry Potter book series came to life Saturday on the Gunter Green. MORE

Rochester, N.Y. will play host to the Northeast Regional Quidditch Championship on Nov. 16 and 17. All matches will be played at the Unity Health System Total Sports Experience. MORE

The Tufts University Quidditch team, the Tufflepuffs, entered the 2013 season as one of the top programs in North America, and they have only improved their reputation this season. With a program building on its recent success, the Tufflepuffs have turned a mix of young and veteran players into a formidable force that is well on its way to competing in the World Cup come April. The first Quidditch British Cup began in Oxford with the top 16 teams in Britain and Ireland competing. In total, 26 matches for the inaugural national tournament are taking place in the University Parks grounds. MORE
